Denis has over thirty years' experience in Australian agribusiness industry, in particular the livestock/companion animal feed sector. Denis has two degrees in animal science, a diploma in food safety and is qualified in HACCP and auditing. He is a registered Animal Nutritionist with the Nutrition Society of Australia and has worked in feed manufacture for beef, dairy, swine, poultry and petfood with Australian and international companies.

As a pet nutritionist and feed technologist, Denis has worked for extruded kibble brands including Country Kennel, Coprice, Bonnie, Pro Plan, ONE, Stay Loyal, Ivory Coat, Healthy Everyday Pets, Alpine Export (NZ), Meals for Mutts and Fish 4 Dogs. He has worked with semi-moist kibble, chewable treats, pet meat rolls, BARF, Freeze and Air Dried, supplements and bone broth manufacturers. Some of his customers in this area include Raw Meow, Fur Fresh, Bugsy and Hungry Dog.
